It was a warm autumns day , and it was cats birthday ! Cat was a big, fat orange cat. Cats best friend Mouse, was a tiny mouse with big ears. Mouse had called Cat earlier that day and asked Cat to come over to Mouses house at 3:00pm that day so that Mouse could give Cat his present and they could spend the day together, Cat agreed to be there at 3:00pm.
Mouse then called Pig, Dog, Goat, Horse, Chicken, Cow, Turtle, Bird and Sheep to come to his house that day at 2:30pm for Cats surprise birthday party. The day before Mouse had made a chocolate ice cream cake for Cats party. Mouse knew that Cat would love it, because Cat loved chocolate. It was already 2:00pm and Mouse had not wrapped Cats present !Mouse had bought Cat a blue toy car that he had been wanting for months. Mouse wrapped the car in white wrapping paper that had small pink flowers placed all over it.
At 2:15pm Sheep knocked on Mouses door and by 2:20pm all of Cats closest friends had arrived in Mouses small home. Mouse asked all of the animals to go into the kitchen and hide. All of the friends disappeared into their hiding places and Mouse turned off the kitchen lights and went and waited by the front door.
When finally there was a knock at the door, Mouse answered it and there was Cat. Mouse said hello and handed Cat his gift. Cat sat on the ground and began opening his present. When he saw the blue car he was so excited ! He said thank-you to Mouse and stared at the new car.
Mouse asked Cat if he would like a drink and Cat said sure, as they walked into the kitchen Mouse turned on the lights and all of Cats friends jumped up and yelled, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAT ! They all celebrated the rest of the evening sitting around talking and eating the delicious ice cream cake.

Great story Keigan. It made me laugh, especially the part in the beginning where you tell us all that you need a good grade, so even though you don't know if this is what you are supposed to do, you are going to do it.
